image_readtop_2018_225733_15232510083270390Korea’s LG Display said on Monday it will present a lineup of innovative OLED solutions for various display and lighting applications at China Information Technology EXPO (CITE) in Shenzhen, China to be held from April 9 to 11.

The company will put forward OLED products with better picture quality and increased marketability with greater application ranges and design freedom.

That includes LG Display’s world’s first 88-inch 8K (7,680×4,320) OLED Display that was premiered early this year, the speaker-embedded 65-inch CSO (Crystal Sound OLED), and the 77-inch UHD Wall Paper which is as thin as a wallpaper.



Of these, the 65-inch CSO won the CITE Innovative Product and Application Gold Award this year, the company said. LG Display will also present OLED lighting solutions during the expo for the first time in China.

"We will continue to take a lead in the OLED market with customers in China, which is the world’s earliest adopter of new technologies and new products," said an LG Display official.

The event, in its sixth year, is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Municipal Government of Shenzhen and attracts more than 1,500 exhibitors and 160,000 visitors each year.
