タッチパネル市場動向 OGS(One Glass Solution)

OGS※1方式は、カバーガラスに直接タッチセンサを形成するタッチパネル方式である。OGSはタッチセンサを形成した大判ガラスをカットするシート方式と、個片サイズのカバーガラスにタッチセンサを形成するセル方式の2種類に分けられる。

シート方式は、日台のメーカーが中心となり、2012年頃から立ち上げが進められている。スマートフォン、タブレット、ノートPC向けでシート方式の採用が開始されたが、ガラスカット後の端面の強度が懸念されることから、スマートフォンでの採用が伸び悩んでいる傾向にある。
